Great frames

I own four pairs of Paul Taylor “Hutchence Originals” : green, gold, black and tortoiseshell. The first three were purchased through my local optometrist, and the 4th through the Paul Taylor website during the Black Friday sale. The shipping on the 4th pair was prompt and the frames were well packed. The first three were shipped to the optometrist for me to try on before buying. All the frames come with a nice, high quality foldable case and cleaning cloth. These are the only Paul Taylor frames I have owned.

I've been wearing glasses continuously since I was 5. I'm now in my mid 50's, and in those few decades I have tried and owned and worn dozens and dozens of frames, across the full spectrum of materials, shape, size, colour, price and quality. These frames are right up there with the very best in my experience.

The frames are very high quality, in terms of materials, finish and construction. They feel sturdy and high end with a beautiful finish. The shape is ideal for my face and I have received several compliments. I suspect they will give me many years of great service.

DESCRIPTION

We are excited to announce the re-release of the "Hutchence Originals," a replica of the iconic design first created by Paul Taylor in 1993.

Originally known as the "M46 & M47," this design was famously selected by Michael Hutchence during a visit to the Paul Taylor showroom in Paddington, Sydney. While the designer has modified the frames over the decades to remain contemporary, we have now come full circle to offer the authentic design that Michael Hutchence actually wore.

"I designed these for my brand when Michael Hutchence of INXS came into the showroom and purchased them," says Paul Taylor. "The Hutchence Originals design is the exact one that Michael wore. The Michael and the Hutchence designs were subsequently added to the collection to provide different size alternatives."

As a lifelong fan who witnessed the legendary 1991 Live Baby Live concert at Wembley Stadium, Paul is proud to bring this piece of music and fashion history back to the collection.

We accept exchange on full priced items only. No refunds are available. If you have or are purchasing a "Sale" item there is no exchange, return, refund or warranty available on these "Sale" items. There is a 14 day exchange policy should you not be happy with your selection for whatever reason. We must be notified by email within 14 days of the purchase date, your intention to exchange within this period. The item must be returned in its original packaging by registered mail. All postage costs will be payable by the purchaser prior to receiving an exchange item. There is a limit of up to three possible exchanges if required.

PRODUCT WARRANTY

All Paul Taylor Eyewear & Sunglasses come with a 1 year manufacturers warranty which excludes "Sale" items. There is no warranty on wear and tear. Yes the warranty certainly covers components. Paul Taylor uses the best possible components that are German engineered providing impeccable quality. They will last for decades if treated well.
